Within the enchanting setting of Quinta dos Encados, immerse yourself in an intimate and immersive experience, where our wines come to life and flavors intertwine in harmony. During our tastings, you will have the opportunity to explore the differences between our two wines: Grande Escolha, a blend composed of the Loureiro and Arinto grape varieties, and the single-variety Loureiro.
To highlight the nuances of the wine, the Classic Tasting is accompanied by a selection of regional cheeses and toasts.

Premium Picnics in the Vineyard or in the Forest
In addition to being a fun and relaxing activity, picnics are a great way to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Getting together with family, friends or a partner for a picnic can improve your mood, reduce stress and increase your sense of well-being.
At Quinta dos Encados you can choose two settings for your picnics, our vineyards or the forest.
Here, nature becomes the stage for a gastronomic experience that ranges from the traditional menu, with its sausages, cheeses and snacks, to the vegetarian menu, with fresh, healthy and equally delicious natural products.
We take great care with the food, comfort and decoration so that you can enjoy the best picnic experience ever!

In addition to the tasting, you will have the opportunity to take a short tour of the farm, delving into its history and that of its founder Armando Areias and delighting in the various landscapes and corners of the property.
This intimate tasting is more than just a simple tasting, it is an invitation to travel through the senses, appreciate the art of making wine and delve into the unique history of Quinta dos Encados.

Penha Peak Adventures: Hiking the Penha Mountains
Penha Mountain is a landmark in the city of Guimarães and the region due to its natural beauty, with trails for hikers, picnic areas, leisure areas and areas suitable for outdoor activities such as climbing, abseiling and mountaineering. It is also a popular spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts due to its natural diversity and stunning landscapes.
At the top of the mountain is the Penha Sanctuary, a place of pilgrimage and devotion dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which attracts pilgrims and visitors throughout the year. In addition to the sanctuary, there is also a large green space with natural viewpoints that offer spectacular views of the city and the surrounding regions.
Privileged by its location, Quinta dos Encados seeks to take advantage of the nature that surrounds it to promote well-being and physical activity, while also giving the community, tourists and visitors the opportunity to get to know Penha in a special way. The trails and hikes on the Penha mountain promise to create the spirit of adventure that sometimes fades away in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and routine.
With the knowledge and supervision of a guide, these walks always meet at Quinta dos Encados, which will offer a coffee and a sweet treat to all walkers.
It is well worth taking part in these trails through Penha, which, in addition to allowing you to admire the landscapes, promise to reveal hidden corners, historical and pilgrimage sites, with a mandatory stop at the Penha sanctuary and the Pio IX viewpoint.
With each step, the mountain will reveal its history and mystery, offering an enriching experience for all adventurers present.

Art and Creativity Workshops
Every month, Quinta dos Encados organizes a creative workshop to spark your imagination and offer a unique experience. With ceramics, paintbrushes, flowers and food, the aim is to encourage participants to explore their creativity, express themselves freely and discover new forms of art.
Our workshops can be held in our welcoming space or in the middle of nature, challenging participants to draw inspiration from the landscape to create their creations.
Furthermore, while you nourish your creative soul, you will have the privilege of tasting our award-winning wines, also expanding your palate and enriching your artistic experience.

Workshops for Children
In a cozy space surrounded by nature, Quinta dos Encados promises to delight children with creative and educational workshops. The aim of these workshops is to provide fun while helping to enhance and develop children's creative skills. It is also an opportunity for them to develop their social and emotional skills and to connect and learn more about nature. Among the various possibilities, we have workshops for Christmas, Easter, Father's Day and Mother's Day, workshops focused on the kitchen such as making natural juices and healthy cookies, gardening workshops, among others.

Yoga Class and Chinese Tea Tasting
Come and enjoy a Yoga class, where balance, well-being and connection with yourself come together with the nature of Quinta dos Encados.
Every second Sunday of each month you can enjoy a session of this outdoor practice, the aim of which is to invigorate body and mind through postures and breathing techniques.
Allow yourself to immerse yourself in the serene and peaceful environment of our farm, breathe the fresh air while enjoying the benefits of this ancient practice.
After the Yoga session, we invite you to taste Chinese tea and explore the corners of the farm.
